  “Remember what she told us on our first date?”

  I smile and nod. “She said we’d have five kids. She was right.”

  “She was right about everything,” he says as he looks down at me with all of the love I felt on that first night together. Our love has stood the test of time and it hasn’t waned yet. “We’re going be together forever. Just like she said.”

  I tilt my chin up and moan when he kisses me.

  We only stop when the Ferris wheel tilts up and our grandkids can see us.

  “Eww!” they scream. “Pappy and Nana are kissing!”

  Butch is laughing, but I can tell this is killing him. He never likes to be interrupted when he’s kissing me.

  We wait until the Ferris wheel turns and our cabin is on top of theirs. Then, without hesitation, he kisses me even harder.

  And like Madame Lovehart said all those years ago, I couldn’t be happier.
